I was the vfx artist on this project, as well as contributing to look dev and shader development. I created custom shaders in Amplify's Shader Editor, and used photoshop to hand paint various sprites. Everything was done to our mobile spec, and I'm very proud of how it turned out and especially proud of how performant it is given how hard I pushed atmospherics! Mobile development is interesting, because bits of it offer peaks into what life was like in the ps2 days. Scary.
